Matchbox Tutorial

Hello Everyone :)
I hope your week is going well so far :)
I have a quick tutorial for you today which once done will enable to create some fabulous projects just by altering the size. Matchboxes!
Here's what you will need:
Cardstock, adhesive, scissors, bone folder, scoring tool (bone folder or embossing tool)

Here's how you do it:

1. From cardstock cut a 7x9cm piece. Mark and Score at 1.5cm & 5.5cm along the short edges and 1.5cm & 7.5cm along the long edge. Using a bone folder fold over the edges. Cut into each corner as shown to make tabs. Add Double sided tape to the tabs and adhere together to make the matchbox drawer.
Finished drawer measures 4 x 6cm

2. From Cardstock cut a 6cm x 13.1 cm piece. Mark and score at 1.7cm, 5.7cm, 7.4cm & 11.4cm along the long edges. Fold at the score lines. Add double sided tape to one end & adhere to the other end to make the match box sleeve.

When you have made your matchboxes you can create projects like this.......
Matchbox Advent - uses 24 small matchboxes

Keepsake box - uses 2 3x4" matchboxes and a mini pizza box

Keepsake card box - uses four 7.5x5.5cm matchboxes
If you have any problems with the tutorial or questions please ask :)
Have fun!
Michele :)
