Time Lost Tutorial

Hello everyone :)

Here's a quick layout tutorial for you today! Have fun :)

 Supplies

1 x Photos 4.5 x 3.5” approx , 2 x 12x12 pattern paper (Crate Doilies and Heirloom )

2 x 12x12 cardstock (Bazzill Strawberry and Hilary), Alphas (Dream Street),

Prima e-line crystals, chipboard embellishments ( crate Restoration chip accents), pins, string, sewing machine or needle & thread, Vintage photo Distress ink pad, blending tool, basic craft tool kit

                                        

 

Instructions

1. Using a template cut out an 11.5 x11.5” shaped piece of Heirloom paper. Ink the edges with vintage photo Distress ink. Matt onto Bazzill Strawberry cardstock and trim. (save the off cuts)

2. Sew zigzag stitch around the edge of the pattern paper using a sewing machine or by hand.

3. Cut a 7x7” piece of Doilies paper ) I have used the reverse side. Distress the edges with sandpaper or

scissors and ink with vintage Photo. Roll over one edge twice, approx 1.5cm wide and secure with adhesive. Adhere to the centre of the layout and fold up the bottom left corner a little.

4. From the Heirloom off cuts choose 4 arches to tuck around the edge of the Doilies piece. From the remaining Doilies paper cut out 2 “doilies” distress and ink the edges. Tuck one under the fold of the 7x7” piece and the other under the left corner. (as shown)

5. Trim and add your photo as shown.

6. Complete the layout with title, chipboard embellishments and Prima crystals. I have tied string through the chip buttons and pushed a pearl headed pin through the knot to finish them. I have also added an old watch to the layout tied with string and a pin to complete the layout.
