February Page Kit - Ever After

This months Page kit is now available from the C4E Store.

The kit features beautiful products from Simple Stories Romance collection and Carta Bella Flora #2 collection.

The kit contains three 12x12" doublesided pattern papers from Simple Stories.

The embellishments include a 12x12" sheet of 3x4" journal card elements from Simple Stories, a selection of Carta Bella Flora #2 Enamel dots (will vary between kits) and a selection of sequins in a glassine envelope.

Also included is a project sheet with instructions to complete the feature layout.

Together ~ Scrapbook Layout

Good Morning :)

I am back today with the January feature layout ~ Together.

Together Page Kits can be found HERE while stocks last.

My photo is an old photo of my sister and I when we were little. The quality of the photo is not great but I wanted to record the special relationship between my sister and I.

I used some Distress reinkers to create a splatter background for the pattern papers to sit on.

There is a lot of pattern on the layout but I think it works well with the 70's photo.

The die cuts in the kit are fabulous, I just kept adding them!

January Page Kit ~ Together

Good Morning and Happy New Year!

The start of a new month (and year!) means it's time for a new Page Kit.

This months kit is called Together and features fabulous products from Simple Stories Vintage Blessings collection.

There are Three 12x12" double sided pattern papers from the collection. 

The embellishments include a selection of printed die cuts and two 24" lengths of Washi tape ( two designs). Die cuts will vary between kits.

As always there is a project sheet included which gives instructions to complete the feature layout.

February Scrapbook Page Kit ~ Adore

Good Morning :)

The February Page kit is now available from the C4E Store along with a gorgeous Add-On kit

I have chosen products from the Simple Stories Love and Adore collection to celebrate the month of love!

In the kit are three 12x12" doublesided pattern papers all from Simple Stories. They feature beautiful florals, arrows and text in pink, black, yellow and blue.

The embellishments in the kit are shiny gold diecut arrows, and a selection of Simple Stories Washi tape. The pale blue Washi has white arrows on and matches the arrow paper perfectly.

Included in the kit is a project sheet to complete the feature layout ~ Adore.

The February Add-On kit contains full packs of self adhesive printed chipboard pieces and enamel dots from the Love and Adore collection.

The Add-On kit is perfect for stretching the Page Kit even further.

I love the bright colours and fun text of this kit and although it is Valentine themed I think it will work with most themes.

December Page Kit - Merry and Bright Layout

Good Morning :)

I am back today to share the December feature layout Merry and Bright.

All the kit details can be found on the post below and kits are available HERE

The layout uses products in both the main Page Kit and the Add-On kit.

I've used a cheeky photo of my boys taken in 2009, there was a lot of colour in the photo so I changed it to black and white using Paintshop Pro.

I added a splattering of Fired Brick Distress ink to the crisp white cardstock background which still leaves lots of white space but gave it that finishing touch.

The kit includes a selection of lovely printed die cuts (will vary between kits) I have used one of the journal cards and the gift stack both of which have pretty foil details.

I've used a few of the stickers from the Add-On Kit and a few enamel dots from my stash.

I think my favourite element in the kit has to be the gorgeous decorative clip! The clips vary between the kits and are all gorgeous! The little elf was just perfect for my naughty elves LOL!

I have enough goodies left to decorate my planner or make a few Christmas cards (I really need to get some cards made!!)

I am teaching at the C4E crop tomorrow we will be making a cute Mini Wreath Christmas tree decoration using sparkly net and macrame rings!

December Page Kit - Merry and Bright

Good Morning :)

The last Page Kit of 2016 is now available from the C4E Store

The kit is called Merry and Bright and features products from the Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses collection.

The kit has a lovely modern whimsy feel to it with a sprinkle of silver foil details.

 There are three double sided 12x12" pattern papers one with foil detail.

 Each kit will have one decorative enamel clip and a selection of printed die cuts these will vary between kits.

There are a very limited number of Add-On kits available

Included in the Add-On kit is a 12x12" sticker sheet, washi tape and a roller stamp.

Something Old Vintage card

Good Morning :)

I have a card to share today
The card is for this weeks C4E Recipe challenge.

My card came together quite quick! I used papers from My Minds Eye Pretty Things 6x6 pad, distress all the edges with scissors then inking them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I added some gold Inka Gold to finish them off.

You can get your hands on a Pretty Things Grab bag HERE it includes the 6x6 paper pad and gorgeous Washi tape!

I then grabbed my flower and mixed media stash boxes to make the center piece of the card.

The main rose is fairly new, but the two small roses are old. 

I found some gold stamens at the bottom of the box I had forgotten about and added them into the arrangement along with some old buttons, wire and jump rings.

There are some punched leaves, beads and canvas flowers in there too!

Finally I gave the whole card a spritz of gold Tattered Angels and pink Perfect Pearls mists.

Then a sprinkle of Gold paint followed by some Gesso.

Special Day Tri-fold aperture card

 Hello everyone :)

My card for this weeks C4E recipe challenge is a Tri-fold aperture card.

I taught this class last month at the C4E crop :)

 I used papers and embellishments from the Captured Moments Page kit.

The card has two apertures, two folds and a lot of stickles lol!

All of the edges were inked and stickled, even the aperture edges!

 

 The sentiment is a Bo Bunny stamp and the flowers were made using a small scalloped circle punch.

The mini acetate film strip from the kit and I added an extra wood veneer camera from my stash.

(one is supplied in the kit)

I'll be teaching again next Sunday at Banwell village hall we will be making passion flowers and taking our first steps into book binding!

It is also our 4th birthday! So extra cake lol!
