As promised I am back with my DT project for this weeks C4E Recipe Challenge.
My card uses a fabulous technique called BOKEH. It's a photography term which describes the effect you get when areas of the photo are out of focus. You see it a lot when you take photos of lights.
I used Distress reinkers and a white ink pad to create the Bokeh effect on watercolour paper.
The large sentiment in the center has been heat embossed with matt black embossing powder.
To finish I added a few sequins.
The technique seems to work best with darker colours, I tried a pale pink one which was pretty but the Bokeh effect was not clear.
